Dr. Oliashirazi, or "Dr. Ali" as his patients affectionately call him, is an orthopedic surgeon with special interest and expertise in joint replacement and minimally invasive surgery. His other interests include arthroscopy and trauma.
Dr. Ali has developed a world-class joint replacement program staffed by physician specialists who use advanced techniques and state-of-the-art technology. It includes extensive education to prepare his patients about what to expect before, during and after their procedure. Under his leadership, the joint replacement program at Cabell Huntington Hospital:

Dr. Ali is a graduate of George Washington School of Medicine, where he was valedictorian of his class. He is the past president of the AOA Medical Honor Society at GWU. He received his post-graduate training in orthopedic surgery at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Ali is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He lectures extensively, and his research has been presented both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Ali is Professor and Chief of Orthopedics at Marshall University School of Medicine as well as the Director of the Mary H. Hodges Joint Replacement Program at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
